Of the same model year. If you want one less than 10 yrs. old, be prepared to spend 20K or more for it. I just looked at one that was 26 yrs. old and the price was 7K +tax. It was nice for its age but not 8K nice.

My goal of finding a nice used glass boat for around 10K after the first of the yr. are fading fast.

I own a 1983 Ranger 372 and I've owned it for 5 years now. I paid 5 grand back then. I think it's crazy too !! I'll never get to upgrade, so I just keep adding to my boat slowly but surely.

The JACKED up prices of new rigs is causing the price of used rigs to stay higher than normal. Just take you time and you will find the perfect rig for you. NEVER get in a hurry when you are looking for a used boat. Patience will pay off trust me. You may have to look at a lot of crap but your perfect rig at the right price is out there.

I agree with this... I have had my eyes open for about 2 years. Not really in the market, but would jump on a good opportunity. I have a 2000 model Stratos Vindicator (17'4"), and have just decided to invest a couple of Gs into upgrading electronics, re-carpetting, and reapolstering my seats. Figure its better than a $15,000-20,000 upgrade. Plus, my regular partner and FIL is buying a 2012 Triton 21xs :)

I got a 98 Hydra-Sport with quality electronics H'bird 788's bow & console, bow has Down imaging both have GPS & East mapcards, & a dang good Johnson 150 FastStrike for sale in the boats for sale section. Dang good boat & they ain't a thing wrong with it.

Nichols marine above you has a norris craft for like 5 k bit dated but pretty sure Paul goes thru them fairly well.

My mistake thats C and O marine at whire oak that has the norris craft, paul does have an 87 champion same price range, your correct in that they all cost to much $but its the consumer thats supporting it,by buying 50-60 k boats
