Does anyone know what the procedure is to dock there for a few hours? I'm thinking about camping on the water this weekend and was going to ride up river and get something to eat before traveling back down for the evening. Do you have to pay or can you just tie up?

Thanks,

They don't want those low class bass boats tyin up space down there, you better bring your yacht if you want to eat downtown.

Kidding, but I would like to see a picture of your boat tied up between those expensive yachts I see parked down there all the time.

Thanks for the replies. What ever happened to just using a dock to tie up to for a bit then leaving? I'm not into the whole having to call for reservations stuff. Plus the only ramp on Nickajack I'd be comfortable leaving my rig in Marion Co. That's a long haul just to eat. So with further consideration I think I've decided to go to chickamauga and run up to Steve's Landing for supper.

Much better choice, believe you will enjoy a great meal, and a fantastic atmosphere.

That situation has me curious. The next time i am at the Landing I plan to call the Number posted and ask the question about short tie ups.

I wonder if you could anchor six inches off the dock in that offset just above the Viewing pier without actually tying to the Dock?

I tie up there all the time to eat and no one has ever bothered me about it. Of course I just get jimmy johns to deliver and eat in the boat...

It's in Soddy Daisy at Pine Harbor Marina off of Hixson Pike. If you like ribs, Steve's is the place to go, just my opinion. Good catfish too.
