UT basketball time

I was wondering what you guys were thinking about the UT basketball team this year. Last year I had a great time watching the Vols do an incredible job all year long. 30+ wins in a year is a great year for any club. I think that this year's group has a great chance of doing as well or better this year and in the years to come. Losing Lofton and J. Smith are big deals but the outside shooting is really good already this year. I'm psyched to watch tonight's game, the championship game of the Old Spice tournament. What do you guys think?

The Vols have a ton of depth , just a lot of youth. Should be a fun game to watch!!

If the Vols beat the Zags tonight, look for them to move into the Top 10.

I think that they have a good chance for being in the top ten even if they lose tonight. Both Louisville and Michiagan State both lost this week and Michigan State lost two in the tournament that UT is in. I'm not big at watching the polls but I think UT has a good chance of being up there a ways by the end of the year. The only teams that I have seen play that looked as good were North Carolina(who would figure) and Kansas. It should be a fun year.

I'm excited. We need to develop an outside threat. If Hopson can emerge as that then we'll win the SEC. Don't get discouraged by a few early season losses if they come along. We are young...

Hopson is a great outside threat. There are lots of other guys on that team that can shoot the three. Tonight was a tough loss. Gonzaga could do no wrong and UT couldn't get the press and the steals working tonight. I thought that whenever UT took it to the hole that they were fouled and few were called. UT should have been in control early but they let it slip away and then had too little too late. They will get better. I think that for the most part they went to the basket well but they really didn't get calls when they did. I don't think that if Gonzaga had had an average night shooing that it would have been a better game. TR20bh and CCSM came to my place and watched the game. We had a good time.
