Just wanted to take a second and brag on our bass fishing club at UTC finishing 10th out of every collegiate bass fishing team in the nation this past school year in the Cabelas School of the Year standings. This title is basically the same as AOY title in BASS and FLW and what every team tries to work towards throughout the year is to finish #1 overall. We are very proud to finish 10th but never satisfied and will be gunning for that top spot come next year! Thanks for all yalls support it means alot!

Very cool.... Just wondering... how many women do you see in the collegiate tournaments? My daughter will be on the Ole Miss team next season. I think she is the only female on any SEC team. She has a lot to learn for sure but she is also very competitive so she will figure it out.... I hope

She is trying to secure a boat but will most likely be a non boater for tournaments Mississippi and west. She will use my boat when in Alabama and east of that.

Yea man there are definitely a growing number of females participating in collegiate fishing as well. We actually have a girl on our team at UTC! There is also this girl that fishes with her brother and i believe they go to Bethel, but they actually qualified for the college BASS national championship this year! I'm sure Ole Miss would be happy to have a girl that can fish with them haha wish her the best of luck!

It's so good to hear about the collegiate fishing team here in Chattanooga, I really enjoy watching the Collegiate fishing tournaments, much more than the pro's when I can catch them on television.
