That was a good long standing post by NJ Angler, we've all had it happen to us! Last weekend I was fishing the mouth of Coon Creek, A couple guys I've seen before in a beautiful, newer model Ranger(red& white) came upstream and started fishing a courtious distance from me. A couple minutes later 3 guys in another boat came downstream, idled back, dropped the trolling motor, looked at me and cruised right up into half a casting distance and started throwing right in front of me! Rather than shoot, cuss or educate them, I just asked " I'm not in your way, am I?" No, you're ok he said. The fish weren't doin' much anyway so I trolled on the guys in the Ranger heard the whole thing and we just joked about it, couldn't figure if they were just rude or stupid. Went on to Mud Creek for a while and stopped back by Coon, the Ranger was still there, they said the guys did the same thing to them We all kept our cool but, had the fishing been better, maybe not. Man, that Ranger was nice! emoCool

Sorry Billy, that was your original post! They say when you get old your memory is the 2nd thing to go, can't remember what's 1st!

whats better than that is when they do it to you on the shore, hundreds of feet of shoreline and they just got to get right beside you

There is another guy in a red Javelin 200 with Gray omc 225 on the back that is just as bad. They might as well have got in the boat with me and chris saturday. Real class acts.

Yea, I have had people run in on me before or even cut me off, but these guys mine as well just hooked their boat up to lance's cause they followed us for a good while. Funny thing was, we kept catching while they weren't. I thought i felt a splash a time or two from their lures being cast towards us. Great guys!! Tell them we said hi if you know who they are. </p>

Has anyone ever thought of cranking your big motor up and start up at about 1/2 throttle and make a very tight circle or two around their boat? Now, I wouldn't do this for the world, but I have thought about it several times. emoBigsmile Bettlespin, you are a big ole boy, why don't you do that sometime and let us know how it turns out? emoBigsmile emoGeezer

I have to edit this post just so that you know that I was only teasing. Don't take me too seriously.
