Everytime I go thru Huntsville, I see the XR-15 Blackbird over by the missels, I believe they are almost gone, just a couple of them left in the world and I believe they are retired, these are the fastest planes our country has ever produced and set a speed record when it was retired, going from california to the east coast in no time flat. The planes would make a mockery of anything the russians sent up after it, missels included. What a thrill this could be to ride in one of those.

that was totally awesome and makes you really appreciate the skills our military pilots have. That flight wasn't even close to what they are capable of doing in combat......... Absolutely incredible...............
