Viewing threads backwards

Ok, I don't have the time to get on here like a lot of you so try to do a quick catch-up a couple times a week. Is it just me, or is it incredibly painful viewing threads from the bottom up? Why does it not take you to the top so you can read the original post and scroll down in proper order? Right now it's painful to me to have to open a thread and immediately scroll all the way to the top to start the thread from original post down. Is this the same for everyone or am I missing out on something???

It would be good to be able to sort the messages by Date Posted, Last Reply,ascending or descending... also sort by member name... etc. And have the option to do this on the main message screen without having to change a setting in Control Panel .... my 2 cents emoSmile

Whoever the webmaster is doesn't know what he is doing and I am not including the moderators on here, they do the minor maintainance. It wasn't this way when David owned it and it shouldn't be this way now but the powers that be don't care, if they did it would be fixed.

Alittle tough on the people that kept us up and runnning dont ya think Doc? Fast server and a good solid data base dosent mean a thing I guess when the "page up / down " buttons on your computer dont work eh.....emoPoke </p>

I'll address this issue again with Mike and Matt but try not to commenton who dosent care due to a little thing like the page issue. Seems a bit harsh if you ask me. emoScratch Click on Statistics and send them a Pm or e-mail. Instead of bashing the owners and people that keep it going..maybe try working with them by sending out a nice message about your concern.</p>

when you hit view new posts... and then you click a thread it goes to the very latest post in that thread

Billy, I am not bashing, I am telling it like it is. How many sites do you go to that start a tread from the bottom? I haven't run into any yet. The powers that be know it is going to the bottom and it hasn't been corrected, now who's fault it that. When David had it, it started at the top. When you watch a movie, you don't go to the credits first. I will say no more.

If the thread takes you to the bottom... Simply "scroll up". Lets not be babies, when all you have to do isput your hand on the mouse and scroll up, which only takes 2 seconds!
