W'/ Grandson Ross 7-13 AM

Ross & I launched in Soddy Creek at 7:30 and fished until 11:30. Caught all our 14 fish by 10:30. All but a couple on zoom trick worm and Lake Fork 4" craw over grass in shallow water. Only one would have "kept" but all were over 12". That's better than I've been catching lately. We plan to go below the dam this PM if the storms hold off.

Ross held up his end very well. we caught 7 each.

Went back out at 6:00 but came in at 7:30 when the thunder started booming. Caught 7 on Bandit & SB. Caught the first and largest fish (13-14 in.) right away on a 4" lake fork craw. Not a craw tube, a plastic craw rigged on a 1/4 oz slider head.

My old Panama band got scratchy, so a new one was in order. Keeps the sun off of the top of my ears. Oh, by the way, did I mention that the grass was just off rip-rap!!
