Wake zone downtown

Is it a no wake zone downtown? I did a search but no answer. Just want to be sure so I'm not doing anything wrong.

No, it is NOT! The only exception is during the Riverbend Festival, or other select special events such as rowing competition or Ironman swimming. In those cases Coast Guard is typically on water and it's VERY clear something special is going on.

But on a routine, day-to-day basis, there is NOT a No Wake restriction (in spite of some signage to the contrary).

Of course common sense should always apply.
