Wakeboard Competition

Anybody know if they plan on closing the waterway Saturday, because of the wakeboard thing Saturday?? I really dont think they can , but curious if any rumors have been floating.....

Downtown near where Riverbend usually is. I would imagine that they will have a narrow place for us boaters to pass through at an idle....

I don't know about this year but last year we had to idle down and hug the shoreline on the aquarium side. They had patrol people on jetskis to help direct us past the bridges.

<font color="#000066"> We were over at grasshopper last saturday evening and they were getting ready to have a wakeboard tournament there on sunday and boy there was alot of boats over there practicing the jumping and the drinking.

Drunks & Loud Boom Boom music in ski boats making big waves. Sounds like a good place to stay away from to me.
