Wal Mart / Coca-Cola Bass Fishing tourny June 13th chickamauga

Well it is time for the annual bass tournament sponsored by WalMart and Coca-Cola. If you have never fished one of these you should give it a try.
Details:
Where: Chickamauga Lake / Chester Frost Park
When: June 13th
What time: safe light - 3PM
Registration: June 12th at Chattanooga Fish & Fun from 5PM - 7PM (no meeting registration only)
Blast off number will be given in the order boaters register.
How Much: $100 entry + $10 Big Fish
Payout: 1st place - $1500 guaranteed, 2nd place $1000 guaranteed
3rd - 10th based on 50 paid entries 3rd - $700, 4th - $500, 5th - $300, 6th - $200, 7th - $200, 8th - $100, 9th - $100, 10th - $100

This is an open tournament and everyone is invited. Please come and fish.

Looks like we are going to have a good turnout again. Lee and Jared Haas have been nice enough to let us use Fish and Fun to sign up so everyone get there early so you can get a good boat number. You can also sign up at the ramp.

In the past this has been a fund raiser for I believe Fort-O athletics. I believe that is still the case. They get sponcers and then pay out a bunch. There is some kept for the school but I am not sure of the break down. With all the sponcerships they get it is a very good one to fish. Pay out has been very good in the past. emoThumbsup Well run and great tournament. Maybe someone will chime in on this one that knows for sure. emoScratch Jmax

We had people leave for out of town at the end who had the names and weights but we are in the process of getting that info.

1st and Big fish Brian England - AJ Holbrook had 17.71 with 6.58 Big Fish.
Brian and AJ are Southern Anglers members.
2nd - Baron Adams - Brian Pierce with 16.74
3rd - Scott Schauwecker - Greg Atchley with 15.06
4th - Mike Mayfield - Ron Hickey with 15.04
5th - Jerry Webb - Wes Hardin with 14.62

We had 34 boats and paid top 4 places. Not bad considering the other tournaments going on.

What tournaments, it looked like business as usual on Chickamauga to me.
Just kidding, thanks for the results.

Scott & Greg Atchley had 13.06 not 15.06. We had 15.04 and were 3rd. They first looked at the board and thought it was 15,but it was 13. He had 13.26,but they docked him.20 for a dead fish. They were not in the top 4. Thats How many places they paid.

Sorry for the confusion - I am reporting this info 2nd hand and didnt have the final papers in front of me so I was tired of waiting. Thanks for the correction.
