Wal-Mart / Coca-Cola Bass tournament 2012 RESULTS

The 8th annual Wal-Mart / Coca-Cola event was held today at Chester Frost Park on Lake Chickamauga. This was the third year in a row that the Tenn Valley Bass Club has hosted the event. We had 34 boats to show up and fish, with some HUGE weights coming to the scales!!!!! This event is for the Benefit of the LFO softball athletics, and is sponosred by Wal-Mart of Fortoglethorpe, and Coca-Cola of Chatt. There were hamburgers and hot-dogs cooked up for everyone to eat while they watch the weigh in. Tow Boat Us sponsored the highest finishing Tow Boat Us member of the event. TheTenn Valley Bass Club would like to thank the great folks of the CBA for the use of their weigh in stand for this event. There were some BIG fish brought to the scales today with a total of 6 fish that were over 7 lbs being weighed in and 3 that were over 8 lbs!!! Thanks Justin, me and John had a very memorable day. Kind of disappointing to have a monster like that and a decent limit to go with and only snag 4th. We have three third place finishes in this event and now a fourth. Lol. This lake!!!!!!!

You guys did great. I can relate to your comment. Try coming in with 28 lbs in a CBA and getting just fourth. emoBawl Kind of makes a great day end on a poor note. But look at it this way...you were in the hunt, made for some great memories, you left with some of your money back in your pocket and there was 31 other teams behind you that would have loved to be where you were. emoThumbsup

I got to give a shout out to my friends Ron and Carter for a great finish in second place also. emoWorthy I knew when Carter called me yesterday on the way home that they had done well. emoBigsmile It sounds like those two goons had the winning fish on a couple times and could not keep them hooked up.
