WE need to learn from their mistakes. Everyone should realize that outlawing something only takes it away from the law abiding. Look at drugs #1 perfect example going on right now everywhere all the time. I know if I was a robber I would be a lot more comfortable if I knew the person inside that house was unarmed.

Friends, this kind of thing scares me to death. We need to really stay abreast of the anti-gun lobbiests' actions in Washington. It is alive and well, but you never hear much about it. I'm with you guys, thay can have them when they have to pry them from my dead hands, my wife's dead hands, and my son's dead hands.

I don think anyone can dispute that the UK made the wrong decisions, as have many European countries. I do know that there are various groups in this country that would like to see the same thing happen. I have hunted all my life, my family has always had guns and will never give them up. Having said that I think this article from FactCheck.org might help some people that are being bombarded with internet rumors designed to create fear and hate. Read it and do some research.
