Hey bro, she went from 5250 rpms to 5750 rpms max. The lift still feels roughly the same maybe little better but not much. I did notice the rooster tail was below the cowing about a foot to a foot and a half. I personally was hoping for better results. Also my tach started acting up. It would turn on and off; It would be working then just quit, then start back then quit. The volt gauge worked fine at all times.

Try the trick I told you about with the spacers on the trim bumps. Is your plate laying in at the bottom? I have seen alot where the slots are worn and as you look at the plate it has alot of NEGATIVE trim, helps hole shot but doesn't allow to get lift. Measure the transon to the edge of the jack plate at the very top and very bottom and see if you have a bigh difference. Just a thought.

I am going to try that trick. Also my brother in law bought him a gps today, so I will get to look at the mph. I am still concerned with the lift it just doesn't seem enough.

If that doesn't work I have some angle plate you could try on it. t will give you about 1" mor of positive trim. Don't sound lik much but is ALOT! Did you look at your jack plate? I have seen alot that will lay in at the bottom taking away positive trim.
