i have a 24 raker wont work.rpms are on the upper in now.need help getting out of the hole.i tryed a 26 chopper and not good out of the hole but pretty good on the top end.i am having trouble finding the sweet spot.hole shot and top end.i believe if i raise the jp up about 2 inches and try a 24 trophy it just might work.
If you are on the upper end with the raker you will definately be there with the 24 trophy. the 24 raker and a 25 trophy ran about the same on my 201 stratos with a 200 venom.
I have a 25P Powertech Tro4 4 blade that Mark Croxton at BassBoatCentral worked. He pitched it to 24 1/2 and added some cup, balanced it etc. It is very nice, like new. I have $450.00 in it and would take $300.00. Call me if interested @ 423 596-5374
boat ran a 24 raker before motor was rebuilt.now that the port timing has been changed to 200 specs it is real sluggish out of the hole.it wont get on plane at all with 24 raker anymore.i am using a 22 pitch something now.it comes out of the hole fair but runs out of rpms pretty quick.i tryed a 25 pitch 4 blade and it ran pretty good on top end but lousy hole shot.i think maybe a 24 trophy will work.atleast i would like to try one.the 25 4 blade that i tryed was not a trophy.
well guys the guru wrechin2 says i need to go down in pitch size.i need a 22 or 23 pitch trophy.he allso says to raise the motor up a couple more inches and change to un limited packs .
