WANTED: trailer lights, transom saver

Sigh... I am looking for a transom saver and a set of trailer lights (stop/turn/run) to replace my POS worthless POS lights that fall off every time I leave the driveway or blow a bulb three times a day. LED would be great but they would probably get stolen; however, anything would be better than my POS lights dragging on the pavement as I pull through to order an Egg McMuffin. Last week I got pissed off and ripped them off the trailer so now they are in my trunk.

I also need a transom saver to attach to a roller. Swivl-Eze was the one that's was STOLEN from the Suck Creek ramp but a piece of PVC is better than the shoestrings currently holding my engine up.

I thought I might ask before I just buy the stuff new at Academy. Ditchdoc, what's the current CFF special at Academy emolaugh

Fastwin, to save some money and future hassles, just bolt the lights onto your trailer. It is best if you seal the things so water cannot get in them and wet the bulbs and bulb holders. They'll last much longer that way. Next, do not use the trailer frame as the ground (white wire). Instead, pull a white wire to each of the light fixtures and attach it to one side of each lamp (ground). This way, the trailer frame is completely out of the wiring, eliminating most of the trailer grounding problems. It's a little work, but if done properly, will last many years and be relatively trouble free.

No! I didn't forget about you! I just had "dusty and in back of my tool shed" prices in mind
