Is the lake muddy in the Dayton and cotton port area? My dad and I are hoping to night fish Tuesday night. Hate to drive 100 miles to fish mud! How is the night bite now? We haven't fished together in awhile so were hoping for a good bite!

Late yesterday the water around the Sale Creek area was clear, you could see grass 2' under the boat. The only water with any color was where the boat traffic had muddied up the water.

As far as the fishing, we caught a few on top water late in the afternoon and came up on some schooling fish around dark. Nothing large and we were back at the ramp by dark thirty..

From what I saw Sunday morning in that area the bigger creek i fished was clear and the smaller creek was murky.
