Hey to All,
I finally have the next few days off from work and was thinking about a Chick trip. I'm guessing the bite has been tough since the rain passed... I had read that the water was at summer pool after all the rain. What does the stain and temperature look like mid lake? I swear, every time I get a chance lately it floods or freezes, lol. Enough to make you crazy.

Since I don't get too many trips to Chick, I've always appreciated the guys who respond to my posts so thanks in advance!

Chris

I went out yesterday and the main lake was mud. Some of the creek arms were clearing up in the backs. Water temp 49-50. Didn’t get a bite.

Went yesterday and today same as Beetlespin 49-51 water temp. Caught a few shallow, but the water has begun to fall and will fall fast I suspect. The floater logs are not as bad,but still a few so keep a eye out.

Was out today in Chester Frost. It's pretty clean in there. Water temps at 49 Everytime I looked. It was a tough day. Used A-rig, mid-deep cranks, lipless, underspin, dropshot, jerkbait. Didn't get anything in the boat but some leaves, dead grass, and a stick or 2.

Copyman, sounds like one of my recent trips on Allatoona! Anybody get out yesterday, or did anyone get out today in between showers? It looks like my only shot is tomorrow. Trying decide if it's going to be a mud hole again after today...

Hopefully not. We're not getting any strong storms so far. That'll change now that I've opened my mouth
