Water in Lower unit...

Just opened the two sqrews to change lower unit oil and water that lasted a second or two. It was clear as drinking water. Moter is a early 90's johnson 90. The lower unit oil hasn't been changed in probe three years.</p>

also how much would it cost to have the wiring redone... not getting rmps. fuel. speed.. etc..</p>
 
Usually the plugs were not tight enough or the shift rod is gauled as those are the common areas.

As far as the speedometer it is a mechanical gauge and would not be effected by wiring. It may be a fuse or a bunch of bad gauges.
