Water Mist Cooling System for Boats - Mine's Ordered.

Here's two sites that sell mist cooling systems for boats. Misters Unlimited has the best and most expensive system. I ordered one from Boat Misters last week. I reckon most anybody could build their own system if they wanted to spend the time finding all the right components.

I include this info here (as opposed to the Products forum) because it's so danged hot and I hope to expose this info to as many folks as I can.

I just installed (redneck style) my water mist system. It came with 5 misting jets which I zip-tied around my center console grab rail. Put the pump in the floor and drew suction from a 3 gallon bucket. This thing is EXTREMELY quiet! I didn't think I'd be able to use it when fishing (because I fish directly beneath the boat). Also, judging by the small spark when hooking to the battery, amp draw will be small as well.

Results: It cools immediately. Gets you soaked a little after about 10 minutes, but gone are the dog days in my catfish rig!!!!
