My water pressure gauge quit reading and I dont know if its the gauge or a plugged line, I have never liked this gauge and plan on replacing it. What I need to know is will I harm anything if I hook my compressor up to the line at the back of the gauge and blow it out back towards to motor?

Take it loose at the motor also and blow it all out. Will not hurt nothing but if still attatched to motor it may go back into the T connection and stop it up.I don't think I would try no 80 or 90 # of pressure though. lol

I took mine loose on both ends and blew it out like you mentioned. It had a lot fo fine trash in it alomost looked like coffee grounds or Skoal. It has worked fine since.

Well, here is what I have found so far. At the back of the water pressure gauge the hose was cloged with muck and junk.
I think I have a bigger problem though. I took the hose apart just above the foot where it runs up the pivot on the motor. When I blow through that hose I can hear air rushing out but I dont know if I hear it inside the motor or if I have a split line below the motor somewhere and I cant seem to see where the line goes in the bottom of the motor.

Ok, im a idiot, I figured out what that lower line is.... dam water pressure speedometer that is not used... thus the air sound when I blow through it. Problems solved, now just need to put the new gauge in.
