Water temp on the Chick

I saw almost 63 degrees all day... That is insane, poor fish..

58.5-61 for us. I wouldn't say poor fish. Just means they will be more active. Just look at all those huge bass in Florida. They love that warmer water

Spawning fish are dictating by water temp not our calendar. The water temp has been 55 plus for over two weeks..

Water temp is now 57 or less in most places. TVA ha dropped the water more

Yea we had 57.1 almost all day New Year's Eve. Highest I seen was 57.7 around 3p.m. Then started dropping again.

Prespawn and spawn depend on water temps. The fish will spawn when the water temps reach 60 to 70 degrees depending on the fish. Smallmouth, largemouth and spots dont all spawn at the same time. That being said. I am pretty sure cold weather is coming and it will change the current water temps. One cold rain and things will change in a hurry.
