Fished the BFL out of Dayton. There were some big bags, but a large percentage of the field didn’t weigh in anything. It was projected to be cold, but the rise in temps through the day didn’t happen as much as they projected. In one spot there were icicles hanging off of bluff walls. For a few mins later in the day it started lightly snowing. It was a slog.

We fished shallow the whole day and I caught 2 2-pounders on an A-rig late in the day. My boater (who was one of the most gracious guys I’ve ever met) didn’t catch any.

I was among the 90 or so co-anglers that blanked along with 54 boaters. Almost got hit by one of those icicles falling off a cliff. I see a 10-05 was weighed in bt the winning boater.. 1st place coangelr had 24 lbs second was 13
