Did an early morning session from TN Riverpark. I think the air was around or below freezing. Water was 54F. Current was very strong and the level was pretty high. We ran some buzzbaits and worms along shoreline and missed a few hook-ups. The fish started hitting the top of the water around 9 as the air warmed and the fog burnt off.
We got into some spots with spoons and caught a few RHD caught the largest at about 2 1/2 lbs. He also took a break and pulled in a bunch of pretty sizable bluegill on live worms. I caught a 6 lb channel cat on a spoon.
We were in by 11. Not bad considering got bad it’s been lately.
