WATTS BAR 3/17/2007

[Big Fish]

Fished from about 3 until right at dark. Windy, cooold, and cloudy started catching right away had three or four small LM on jerkbait and grubs in deep clear water. First keeper was 2.9 lbs. on digital scales ( Yes, I broke down and bought some). Next fish made the day 5.5 lbs. in shallower water. As soon as the sun popped out out the fish turned off. Finished up in piney with a couple small fish nothing to bragg about. Water was between 52 and 54 everywhere we went. I promise to get the pics. of the big fish on here as soon as i can. I showed the picture to fishinvol so i've got a witness. Hey, did I mention that it was windy and cold out there yesterday. It was nice to meet some fellow CFF members at the yard sale this morning. I'll be back at it the first of the week.

Sounds like you did alot better than all of us that fished Tues. We had 14 people show up to fish a dog fight on the Bar and only 4 fish were weighed in. One fish won it all, about 4lbs. I heard alot of people talking and there were discussing how many bites they got instead of how many fish they caught lol. I fished for a total of 5 hours and only had two bites and I think that was a bluegill. Good job.
