Watts Bar 3/29 bass

went bass fishing again today and caught some nice bass on spinner and jig. All were prespawn, but water is warming. Caught a nice stripe above the Kingston Steam Plant that was close to 30 lbs(I need to get some scales). Caught a bass that went 5 lbs in the same spot, but it came off at the boat. The stripe and big bass were on a ledge with stumps that ranges from 3' to 20' right off the main channel.

Ok, maybe it was only 25lbs and she faught hard.

Thanks for the report and the great looking rockfish Jon! Was there current when you caught it? I really want to fish that Steam Plant area someday...

Thanks David. Yes there was some current coming from Melton Hill. I overheard some guys saying they were catching some on a regular basis out of the steam plant.
