I put in at Rockwood around 8 am and started out around thief neck island, with nothing. I went and checked one of my mid depth hump and had one bite on a tube and broke off. Fished some red clay banks and had a nice 3 1/2lb lm full of egg slam a crankbait. Around 11 I went down to Bayside and it was a very rough ride, 2-3 waves with a 4 mixed in. Fished there with no luck. Loaded the boat and went to class and after class I put in at Ladd landing. Started in the steam plant and caught four keeper on a shaky head, 3lb spot, 1 1/2lb spot, 2 1/2lb lm, and 2lb lm. I lost one on the shaky head that was huge, I couldn't turn this fish to save my life. Seen a some white bass playing on the surface and started catching them on a spoon. I caught 15 on the spoon and three on a rooster tail. Went to the flat on the emory and they were schooling again and couldn't get any of them to bite. Got off the lake right before it started raining 5 pm. Got home and wentdown to Polar creek to see if the white bass were running and they are running. I caught 10 white bass in about 45 min of fishing.
