went out on the Little Emory river yesterday, and water is up and cool. I found water temps as low as 60 in one spot. Caught alot of fish in all stages of spawn. Found a sweet spot where alot of bass were either prespawn or post spawn and caught about 15 in 20 casts with the biggest about three lbs. This spot was about a foot deep and is where grass(Not aquatic) had grown before the water came up. It is on the edge of the Little Emory channel. I then went around the area trying to find spots that are similar. Found some with fish on them, but not in the numbers I found before. The biggest I caught was 4lbs and she was on the bed. I forgot to bring the camera yesterday, and figured that would get me a huge fish, but it did not work out that way. All fish were caught on SB, TR lizard, bomber fat a in TNshad

water temps 60-68
water clarity- 1ft-4ft

Saw another post about trash and the same goes for Watts Bar, lots of logs, trees, tires etc. floating so watch out.

Wow, still 60 degrees some places, that seems really cool for now. I would expect that it's in the low to mid 70's in Chickamauga right now. I hope to find out tonight.

Bprice, I have not caught a musky yet, but I do try to fish for them when I get out there. I will get one this year and post a pic if I do not forget the camera like I did yesterday.emoBang They usually hang around the blowdowns on the main river near deep water.

Polo, it is kind of chilly for this time of year. I figured it was the run-off from the recent rains that made it so cold. Could be that it comes off the mountian a mile from where I was fishing. The Little Emory is alot like Sale,Soddy, and Richland creeks, except a little further up Waldens Ridge. The watershed comes from Frozen Head State Park and the mountians around Brushy Mountian State Penn.

The pic is far off butt if you look close you can see the yeelow lines and that is where I spent the day

Great job on patterning the bass, jtf. It's pretty cool that the bass are being caught in similar locations across the various bodies of water that are fished on this board.
