Watts Bar 7-29

Put in at the dam and fished the lower end . Fished the main lake points and humps from the dam to Twin Island .Threw CB'S , SB'S and finally managed two keepers and several small bass on Cr. watermelon lizards .The bite was really slow from what it has been . And from this weather we are supposed to have this week it is just going to get tougher !

Seems like the fish have lock jaw these days. At least from looking at all the post lately, we can take comfort that its the fish and not us. Well, that's what I keep telling myself. emoLaugh

Wonder if fish are like people .. some days it's just too hot to eat! And if you do .. you don't want to expend alot of energy to do it.

Yep Fat Albert is right! Instead of fishing during the hot weather we need to be sittin on the porch under a fan drinking ice tea and watching the fly's fall. emoLaugh It's about too hot to do any enjoyable fishing unless its at night. And then its still hot!. emoHoppingmad
