Fished for about two hours after the rain finally moved out this evening. Man, did it really cool things off. Surface temp was actually down to about 80. I was fishing a finesse worm on a small jighead around rocks and laydowns in 5-20 feet. Only managed one keeper LM about 3 lbs. Had a smallmouth that went 16 inches, and a few other shorts. I had three or four more really good bites, but didn't get a good hookset. I had two of those on long enough to tell they were pretty decent fish.
All in all it was a pretty good way to end the weekend. It felt absolutely great outside after all that rain.
