Watts Bar 8-26-06 night

Well I got to fish with BPrice tonight and we had a good time drinking a few cold ones and enjoying the evening. We started out at 6 and went topwater first, we had no takers on that or at our first stop. We went to one of my favorite sloughs and fished there with chili cheeze pups still in the wrapper and caught some smallies, nothing huge but fun none the less. I caught a nice largemouth that was maybe two pounds, and a few slicks. It was kind of slow this evening. We got back to the ramp and a tourny had just wieghed, and it was won with just 6 lbs. I wish we could have slayed them, but we still had a good time and some good laughs. I look forward to fishing with Brandon again in the near future. We got some pics that BP will post later.

The key was to dipping the wrapped Cheese Pups in SpikeIt! Those Watts Bar Smallies really love that stuff! HahahaemoLaugh

It was neat getting off my normal wiiiide weeeeedy lakes, and seeing a different side of the river system. I had a blast! We caught all of our fish on 1/8 to 3/8th oz black and blue jigs, and texas rigged plastics. Fished super slow. Man we lost alot of fish last night, between breaking lines, and getting wrapped around stumps. Most fish were scattered 8-20 ft of water it seemed.

I had a blast last evening, and once again I haven't fished with a CFFer I didn't like!

JTF and I need to fish a CFFer together soon, we'll be called the Roane County Connection. Sounds like a cool wrestling name!

He hung in there FA. It was kind of funny, when BP caught that fish, he got to the boat and fish jumped, then the line broke and I was able to get the net under the fish as it brokeemoToast It was a slow night but we did get some fish and had some good laughs.
