Watts Bar 8/26

Headed out at 6:30pm this evening with the intent of fishing until around 1AM or so, and hopefully bumping into JTF and BP. First spot I tried was up near the entrance to Bayside marina. I boated two dinks on a tr-worm, and missed a couple bites. Shot across the lake to some rocks, and hooked into one that went 3 lb 7oz on the first cast. I was thinking man, this is going to be a great night. Then...my trolling motor up and died on me! Not sure what the cause is yet, but man, what a bummer! It sure does hurt to have to quit fishing because of technical difficulties--especially when they are biting!

JTF and BP, hope you guys wear them out tonight! I'm looking forward to seeing your report tomorrow.

hate to hear about your trolling motor. Glad you at least got a decent bass to tug on the line. We were not far from you. We were up from bayside in the slough with the fallen trees in it. We need to get out and go one day SW, shoot me a PM with your schedule and we will go here shortly.
