Watts Bar 8-30-06

I had the pleasure of going on Watts Bar with Flip yesterday. We put in at the dam and rode around a little and checked a few spots. We did not catch a boatload of keepers, but we at least did not get skunked. We fished deep and shallow and just could not get the fish to cooperate. I think Flip caught three flipping the fallen trees and rocks along the river bank, and I caught a keeper spot and a small bass on a finesse worm. We had a good time, and man did I get sunburned. I have been out so much at night, that I have lost my base tan and now I am really a redneck. Enjoyed the company Flip and we will have to do it again.

Yep, thanks for showing me around Jim. I had a good time. We caught a few and the company was well worth the trip. I got the red neck burn too, my wife says its the farmer tan, neck and forarms dark with a ghostly fat belly. I'm planning on coming back to the Bar Saturday, going to follow Jmax around to steal some spots. Thanks again buddy, see ya soon.
