Watts Bar 9-3-06

This post is dedicated to Jon The fisherman. I joined this forum a few weeks ago and Jon was kind enough to offer me assistance to get started on Watts Bar. His help qand gotten me jumped started in a big way. This morning I went out near Bullet Br. and caught three bass, two of which were non-keepers. the one in the pic measured 18" and weighed a little over 4lbs. I was dragging a 3/4oz black jig with a blue skirt in 16 fow when it hit with authority. the smaller fish were caught on a shad colored crankbait.

You are going to mess around and give him the big large head. but that is ok ... he is a good guy with a big heart... You may need to help him move. LOL

I am glad you caught some and glad I could help. I know it can be a tough lake at times, and I still am learning new things about the lake everytime I go. In the next few weeks, the action will start picking up with shad on the move, and I hope we can all catch some bigger fish.
