Watts Bar night 8-24-06

Well I had one of those nights. I started out at Shields Bar and fished around the islands with a jig. I got seven bites, had seven fish on, and had seven fish get off before they got to the boat. I lost all those fish on a 1/4 black and blue jig, all fish were hooked and lost around the points of the islands. I was throwing an 1/8 jig, but I went to cast and hit a bat which broke my line and that was the last 1/8 jig. I also threw a spinnerbait, and the line broke, and that spinnerbait went 100 yards into the woods. Lots of trash floating with some large logs in the mix. Water was 79-81 degrees in most places.

I'll be out there tonight, and tomorrow night. I'll be putting in at Rockwood both nights, and Saturday night..I'll have the privilege of fishing with BPrice. I'm hoping we can get into some good fish.

That 15 pound bag you had was 4th? I had forgotten the big bags we had that day. I cant seem to get on the fish good at the Chick. Thats one reason I have gone to Catfishing.

Let you win? I did everything in my power to keep you from winning, of course we saw how fruitfull that wasemoLaugh ...and if we were counting cats...Well you have me beat by a long shot.

SW, we will be out by the Thief Neck area, I like to hang around the Martins Branch area the sloughs down from it. Also the one directly across from it. Just look for the Norris Craft with two big country boys in it.
