Went to watts bar this am with Steve and striper on mind but no luck. saw tke king we were using his type of jigs, and he told us where to drift and no luck. after he left things started to get crazy there, so steve and i decided to change spicies, so we drifted riprap. got 1 smallmouth 2 white bass and 83 large skip jack in 2 hours around coal unloading area fast and furious. another pretty day on water. going to e mail fisherpal2k with photo to post for me. THANKS Drumking you are the best!

we were using 1/8 oz white jigs with white curly tails. skipjack was chasing ninnows in corners of metal wall, lowed half of wall was most productive.

Tileman I kind of thought that was you up there yesterday but as I have only met you the one time at the picnic I wasn't sure. Sorry for not recognizing you. I guess if you had shorts and a T shirt I might have known who you were. Next time I'll know and be more sociable

Tileman, I'm sorry that we caught the only stripers up there this morning. Just kidding. They were hard to come by. There will be better days, I'm sure. Catching those skipjacks are a lot of fun too. Don't know if you tried it or not, but you can catch a load of Crappie where the warm water discharge is near where you were catching the skipjacks.emoGeezer
