how is watts bar fishing right now? Thinking about heading up there in the morning to avoid some of the crowd hopefully. I haven't been on watts bar in 30 plus years.

Any help would be appreciated.

Volunteer bass trail is up there tomorrow. Don't know how many will be in it but with $3k to the winner it will draw a crowd

Went twice this week and only saw a handful of boats compared too 300 boats on a Wednesday at chickamauga. The fish may not be as big but they are not as pressured.

Never mind. I see they are at Tom Fuller. I am putting in at the dam so maybe it won't be so crowded.

Just went there today. Not many people out. Caught 5. Had a good time. Water temp was 51 this morning. This evening found a place with 57.

I didn't catch ANYTHING Saturday. My daughter had a nice smallie and a big drum...
The water temps were 49 everywhere I was at and the fish were none existent.

Does Watts bar run behind chick as far as fish moving up? Didn't seem to be any bait in the backs of the creeks or any bass.

I left more puzzled than when I came.
