If you had lived here in March of 1993, this much snow would have been a drop in the bucket. The blizzard of 93 was a SNOW!

Got 6" in Ooltewah.

Back in 93 we had 24" in Niota TN. Went to bed no snow, woke up the next morning with 2 ft. That was a snow. I was a senior in high school and we were out for 2 weeks. We did not have power for 4-5 days. Good times.

I measured eight inches on my deck and I know we had at least a couple inches melt yesterday, last time I checked 8 + 2 = 10. emoBigsmile Jmax

Churly lives about two miles from me so he said nine. Does not sound like an overestimate to me Spur.

I had about 8 across the rover from you all here in Soddy, a buddy had 12 on mobray mtn. If what fell all day would have stuck like last night it would have been like 93 or close at least. It was beautiful however it is gonna cost us to have to work sat and Sunday now probably. Just cause it snows doesn't mean the chickens so growing.

We ended up with 24 inches Roanoke today. Did not stop snow until 4:30 today.

Finished up here at my house in Hixson with 8.5". Most beautiful snow I can remember. The way it piled up on the tree limbs was amazing. Good thing we had no wind!! The storm in '93 was ugly. Dry snow and 40 mph wind with drifts about 3 feet deep.

8 inches of snow in Ringgold; If we are going to get a big snow in TN it is always Feb, March. Have you ever seen 8" of snow melt so fast?
