weekend fishing

Haven't posted anything in a while cause I've been puttin in some LONG hours at work and I finally have a free weekend this weekend. Im anxious to get out and do a little fishin cause I was able to buy a new rod and reel with my nice overtime paycheck and I wanna try it out emoSmile Just wonderin if any of ya'll have heard of anyone catchin fish off the bank anywhere. Other than bluegills that is. I did take my girlfriend to HBSP last Sunday eve. and we caught lots of those little buggers off the fishing pier, but I would either like to get some cats or bass or pretty much anything. Is there bank access at the Nuke Plant? I would love to fish that place and I was curious if you could from the bank. After seein some of the pics and reports on here that looks like a blast! Or, if anyone has a backseat open I would gladly pay for gas if anyone wanted the company. If not, that's ok too. As always, any info would be greatly appreciated - if it wasn't for this site and everyone on it, I may never catch anythingemoLaugh Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Let me check with the wife and see what I'm doing this weekend. If I get the greenlight to go you are welcome in the backseat. There isnt any access to the nuke area except by boat unless you are an employee.

3 of the last 4 keepers that I've caught were from the bank, near the HBSP marina...Friday the 13th between 6 and 8 PM. You don't have to fish from the piers. CFrost has a lot of good bank to walk as well. WTCreek too, if you don't mind a trek through the woods...happy hunting! Going to a bank in about 20 minutes!
