fished a club tournament friday night with a not a lot of luck. Started fishing some humps in 15 ft of water. Marking fish but nothign but a drum. Moved to underwater creek channel, first cast get a good bite and set the hook line breaks at the swivel. I went to retie and learned i did nto have anymore egg sinkers and partner did not bring his C rig box. We moved shallower and tried to concentrate on areas with brush in 12-15 ft. Caught one good 19.5 in smallie and 4 shorts. Had to work our but off to get a limit finally getting 1 LM and 3 spots to go with the decent smallie.
Saturday, CBA tournament, horrible night for beetlespin and I. we ran upriver a good ways to start and found nothing. Moved back down and started working humps and found nothing. Seemed like everything we did was wrong. Beetlespin finally got a shot at a good fish in the same place i got the smallie friday night and the line broke. One of those nights. we left at 2:30 and called it a night. Only thing we figured is the fish in less than 15 feet were turned off by the storms saturday evening.
