I went solo on Saturday morning. Put in above Chick dam and ran up river to Booker T. It was still dark when I got there. Started throwing a black and blue spinner bait with one Colorado blade. I didn't have any success with the spinner bait. Changed to a black and blue brush hog and caught three fish back to back. Two 1.5lb fish and one small one. I caught another in the 1.5 range on a buzz bait once the sun came up. Changed techniques, and started flipping brush piles with a brush hog in watermelon seed, and a Yum dinger in Chartreusse. Landed a 2.5lb fish on the Yum dinger. Ran up river to another spot that looked promising and didn't catch another fish the rest of the morning. All fish before 8:30am. None between 8:30 and 11:30 am. Like someone shut the switch off. Anyway, thought that I would share. How did everyone else do? Details!!!!!!!! Sean

Chester Frost Park- 10pm to 12am- (7/30/05).

My son and I caught several large mouth before the lightning chased us back home.
Didn't keep up with the quanity, but several were caught back to back. All were close to keeper size.

Caught all on a "Zoom"-Big Critter rigged Texas style. Setting in about 10 foot of water casting towards bank. I was fishing a fluke rigged Carolina style and changed over to the Critter after my son caught his third back to back. Nothing like a twelve year old trying to show up his old dad.

Big Critter was a watermelon seed color.

Lots of fun and a lot of action. Wish the lightning hadn't cut our trip short.
