Weiss 11/4/06 with Cutthroat

I got to fish with Damon from Cutthroat Lure company Saturday at Weiss lake. we started out at riverside with not much luck. We never found the baitfish like there should be this time of year and not much activity in the sloughs around that area. Made a move to check a few places that Cutthroat knew of. right away Cutthroat tags a 4.8 lber. thinking we might be figuring somethign out we decided to trailer it down to the canal ramp.

We fished another 2 hours cuthroat gets another fish around 3 lbs and i quick release a keeper fish. That is it!

3 fish at Weiss lake! Tough day and it sounded like it was tough everywhere.

I was at Weiss all last week on VACATION.
What a mess,The fishin was bad all week.
I did catch 6 Stripers Saterday, but that was my best day.

I was across the hump on the back side of the river.
My boat has a real shallow draft, so i got to the 8 foot ditch in the back.
It was fast and furris for a while then GONE to parts unknown.
