Started fishing around lunchtime on a rock bank.I quickly caught a 3lber and 5 casts later one about 2lbs.Both caught on a sweet and sour colored cutthroat spinnerbait.Ryan and I moved to a flat and I caught a shorty on an excaliber rattling bait in a rayburn red color.Moved yet to another area and Ryan reeled off about four small fish using a dt4 rapala in a firetiger color. About an hour and a half left to fish I thow a white cutthroat buzzbait under a dock and got hammered by a mammoth 11inch largemouth! About 30 min until dark Ryan connected with a nice 2 lber flipping a dock.He caught that fish on a Cutthroat jig in Ryans super secret color. We both thought for the most part it was a tough day until Ryan text messaged me yesterday and told me the B.A.I.T tournament sat.was won with 26lbs! zoinks

sorry.Water temp was from 59 to 63 degrees.there was some dirty water but looked like chatttoga was clearing up.Its always the first to muddy and the first to clear.the water was on the rise and was only about 2ft below summer pool.we asked a local if they were raising it for summer pool and he said yes.seemed a little early?

They start pumping water back into it at the start of the year. That's what we were told several years ago.
