Looking at the upcoming weather I thought I would run down to Weiss for the next couple of days. Hope the crappie start doing their thing in the next day or two. Anybody been down lately?

Hey whats going on, Was down there a couple weekends ago and really got into them just off a relatives dock, the water was still down a good bit, but a friend told me that the water had come up a good bit. I am heading down that way in a weekend or two if u still havent gone i will let you know.

I drove by several miles of Lake Weiss today on my way to MS and the lake was nearly at full pool. Maybe within 6 inches and VERY muddy. The Chattooga looked like you could walk on it. Lots of boats out there today and bunches of boats out on the lower lake. Hope ya'll catch a bunch. Now is prime time. If the rain holds off Weiss should clear up pretty well by mid week and the crappie will be hongry!
