Weiss Report 10/29/2006

Had a 2 day classic this weekend...

Day 1 With the wind blowing 15mph. and the overcast sky we started throwing crankbaits on the rocks. Went the whole day throwing various lures top and bottom. Found all of our keepers hugging the rocks and hideing from the wind. Caught all on a Minus 4 Gray Ghost crankbait. Finished 3rd with 13.32lb. and big fish of 4.48lb.

day 1 leader 15.02lb
day 1 big fish 5.66lb....$525.00


Day 2 With no wind and bluebird skies we tried some shallow flats, stump fields, creek ledges and humps. Only had 1 keeper and he came off the rocks. Fished crankbaits mostly. fish weighed 1.43


Day 2 winner 30+lb
Day 2 big fish 6.95 HOGG....$525.00

We ended up going from 3rd to 10th with 14 3/4 lb. But 10th was good for $150.00 with no entry fee so that was pretty cool.

I can now say i hate Weiss more than Chickamauga!!!

There was 21 thank you!!!! But even if we finished 21st we would have still won $100.00

And yes we need to chase some spots
