Welcome to the hood; The 1st 36
Well after renting shop space for a long time of my 24 years in business, I finally invested in a commercial property in one of our "Challenging" neighborhoods, East Lake.
My wife and crew and I spent all day Saturday moving in and cleaning up the yard. I noticed the doggy door the previous owners had and thought I should block it off but by dark on Saturday I was wore ass out.
FF to this morning I opened up and noticed 2 fairly new Echo backpack blowers were gone. Weedeaters, pruners were still there doors were locked.
To my credit I told my wife I wasn't going to be surprised if we got ripped off, I just didn't think it would be so fast.
So......instead of doing my job to help pay for these tools I spent the day fortifying the place. The doggy door I boarded up and left a sasquatch trap so if they try to climb through again they're going to leave some DNA.
Tomorrow I'm getting the alarm guy out and get security up to par.
I'll keep y'all abreast of my progress............
