Just wondering who would be the best person, if the block is repairable, to take my block to to be welded... and no I don't mean my head. So far everything is looking okay except for piston and block. The crankshaft stills move freely, almost too freely when I was getting the flywheel off.

I have a friend who works at Husky sheetmetal. They would probably do it for you, call em up and see. Cheeze might do it also if you can get him to do it.emoLaugh

i just depends on how much welding he has to do on it. Mine was around 100 bucks i think

Thanks for the info, so does anyone know what sleeves consists of as far as repairing. The scoring in the cylinder wasll is minimal. Also they say that if you have to bore one a littel bigger than the other, becasue the pistons shoul=ld be in the same weight that you only have to replace the one piston that is bad.
