A while back I posted about my motor cutting out and missing. I changed the plugs and filter and neither helped. I called Wes at Island Cove outdoors and talked to him a while. He seemed to think it had to be an ignition problem. Either coil pack or stator going bad. I was hoping it was a coil pack myself. I went on vacation for a week so I left it with him. Before he started tearing stuff apart he called and asked me some questions about the motor and I was able to give him enough detail to rule some things out. He calls back in an hour and said he found the problem. I have a hose with a water hose connection to flush out the water system and the hose fitting was cracked. The higher RPMS I ran the more water sprayed into the cowling and eventually the carbs. I ran the motor today and it's fixed. Best part is he didn't charge me anything!!! I can't thank him enough. I walked on pins and needles all week wandering how expensive it was gonna be to get it fixed. I love service after the sale and that's all I've ever got from these people.
