Well I got to the lake I guess it was around 11 oe so last night and folks let me tell ya, it was awesome. It seemed like the fish were on any and all kinds of cover, and I had several in the (9lbs) range. I broke off several times and but it was a blast. The big fish of the night was a 12 lbs smallmouth that I caught at the boat ramp under the light. I was just getting ready to head down lake when my wife told me it was time to get up, don't you just hate it when that happens. But anyway that's my story and I'm sticking to it LOL. Everybody have a good day!

The late, great, Billy Westmoreland used to tell the story that many times he would wake up in the middle of the night and hear a big smallmouth calling to him. He believes that he has had a world record smallmouth on the hook several times during his life. The difference between him and you is that he got up and headed for the lake!!
