What someone took the first 15 or so boaters and the first 15 or so non boaters that signed up and had a draw to see who your partner would be at the ramp? I don't think i would be any good at putting one on, but i know there's a lot of you that could. I would help any way I could and i'm sure others would to. This would be a good opportunity for some of the guys that don't get to fish tournaments because they don't have a boat or don't have a partner to fish with. The hard part would be to get 15 boaters that wouldn't be affraid to fish their super secrete spot with a non boater they don't usually fish with. I believe that everyone could learn something or help someone learn something new and maybe make a new friend to fish with.

Actually not a bad idea at all Big Fish...maybe some can ponder this over and try to get something like this in the works! Seems like an excellent way to create new friendships as well as help others learn!

I think this would be awesome. (Especially since I don't have a boat, but love to fish tournaments.) I have yet to understand with people constantly wanting to fill empty seats why some guys put in, fish, and take out by themselves rather than inviting someone along to help out.

I think there was talk of one in the past couple years on here, but there just wasn't enough interest .

Too many folks unwilling to give up their spots, like you and Lance emoPoke emoBigsmile

All I throw is a fishinvol trap, I don't need spots. :)

I think it would be better if there were some of the bigger tournament fishermen affraid to show their spots. This way you would have a better turn out of people that are out to fish for fun and fellowship and not like their fishing for big money. We could make it cheap $15 a person $10 entry fee and $5 big fish that would be $300 to the winning team and $75 for big fish pot. I think it would be fun but thats just me. If anyone would be interested just post weather you would want to be a boater or a non boater and we could see how many we would have.

I agree with big fish and xldvee; this a good idea. I would be willing to fish this depending on the date and my work.
there are probably plenty of non-boaters that would jump at the chance to fish something like this and I could probably learn more about the banks that my partner knows so I would gain info as well show new spots to someone that might have never been to a spot before being a person that does not have a boat. Its all about fishin fun.

Most all tx`s were(when they first got started) organized as( Draw for partner, boat or no boat). It was fun until Mr.Money and Mr. Ego got paired up together. They brought out the ugly part of competive fishing.Buddy tx`s became more and more popular.B.A.S.S. started putting observers in the boat with the pros and OH WELL,I`ll
stop now,you get the picture.

I guess I would be game to take a guy out that I got in a draw. May not take him or her to my best places but I bet we could muster up a limit. If the person turned into an a-hole they could swim back. emoPoke JK, emoBigsmile WE would need some scales and a date. emoThumbsup Jmax

All right what about June the 27th on the Chick. The only thing on the calendar is the Oakwood Bassmasters out of Nickajack. So lets look at sites Wolf., HBSP, Grasshopper we need a place with lots of room because we will need to draw before we put in becasue there want be enough room to tie all the boats before the drawing. I like Grasshopper because that puts us up toward the middle of the lake but i'll go with what ever the majority wants. What about drawing at 6:15am and Blast off at 6:45 that gives us 30 minutes to get boats i the water and ready togo. Then go from 6:45 til 12:00 noon or later, but we will need scales i've got a table and the sign in sheet. If someone thats fishing could bring theirs or barrow them from someone that trust them with it. Just give me feed back and i'll get it rolling and try and set the date and all the rules and the site by the first of next week sometime. I'm going to wait to say if i'll be a boater or non boater until the last minute so if there's someone going to be left out I can do either. I think it would be fun and i know it's something i've never done before.
